2016-10 Trip to the Top End

To celebrate Hazel’s big birthday, we took a fabulous trip to the Northern Territory. We began and ended our trip in Darwin, a city that we found to be very pleasant city to walk around with parks, bars and restaurants.

After a couple of nights in Darwin we headed off to Kakadu with our excellent guide Wade.

After Kakadu we headed to the Cobourg peninsula and the excellent Venture North camp.

After our stay on the Cobourg peninsula, we headed back through Kakadu to Darwin from where we caught a light plane to Bamurru Plains lodge.

We flew back from Bamurru Plains to Darwin for another night and then took a trip to Litchfield National Park and then that concluded our trip to the top end.
