Our dear Japanese friends, Noriko and Naoto Yagi came to stay. It was the first time that Noriko had been to Kalorama and we were all looking forward to a relaxing time and so we stayed local.
Here are some shots of our activities, mostly nature and wildlife focused, in and around Kalorama.

The Ada Tree
Since we are all nature lovers, we decided to go and see the Ada Tree which is one of the largest trees on earth. It is somewhere between 300 and 400 years old and one of the very few to have been left standing by the logging trade. It is a 70kM trip with the last 30km on dirt roads.
